By capturing aesthetic snapshots of the largest deep-water port during ist genesis these portraits by the photographer Heinrich Hecht reveal the beauty of 360 hectares of reclaimed land - sometimes not always at the first glance.

Author Biography

Supervised by Prof. Götz Greiner students at Jade University of Applied Sciences developed this visual narrative. The selection and composition of the shapes, colors and vistas of the photographs direct the eye to the signs of change, with their interplay creating a very special portrait of this major infrastructure project.
