While considering the inherent tensions between moral ideals and contingent realities, the last set of essays discuss topics such as the transfer of technologies and the reduction of poverty where responsible practices are still being debated.

Author Biography

Frederick Bird holds the Concordia University (Montreal) Research Chair in Comparative Ethics. Manuel Velasquez is the Charles J. Dirksen Professor of Business Ethics and Professor of Management at Santa Clara University.
