Author Biography

Stephen Wilbers is a writing consultant, author, adjunct professor, and syndicated columnist. His columns on business writing appear in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and the Orange County Register, among several others. He has written a book on the Iowa Writers' Workshop, as well as two self-published books, Writing for Business and Wilbers on Writing. A former Fulbright scholar, he earned his Ph.D. at the University of Iowa. He teaches writing at the University of Minnesota and at Hamline University's graduate studies program, where he won the 1995 Outstanding Faculty Award. He also lectures on business writing at training seminars throughout the country. Stephen Wilbers currently lives in Minneapolis.
