Author Biography


Masami Kurumada has gained worldwide recognition with his KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC (Saint Seiya) manga, which has been translated into several languages and was a major hit in South America and Europe. KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC was originally intended as a boys title but the incredible artwork and slightly feminine looking male characters drew in female readers as well. The manga was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, then went to span 28 graphic novels, 114 anime episodes, 4 movies, a very successful toy line, and a videogame!
