Summary

The Three Kings were enjoying the ongoing holiday revelry in Puerto Rico, feasting and leaving presents. Melchior overeats and falls asleep, taking the star of Bethlehem with him. His disappearance and recovery started the January tradition of Melchior's Feast, still celebrated in some parts of the Puerto Rican countryside.

Carmen Rivera-LassTn studied in the University of Puerto Rico and Boston University. She has had experience as an educator, administrator , artisan and businesswoman and currently works the newspaper El Nuevo Dfa.
