Summary

This is a soft book for babies at least three months old. Babies have a very strong bond with their mother. This bond enables them to discover the outside world. When babies grow up and separate somewhat from her, it’s disconcerting. But they are reunited, which helps build a sense of security that’s solid enough for them to continue their discoveries in the world. By playing peekaboo games, babies discover that people and things remain even when they’re not visible; and even when they and their mom are not together, they’re still very close. Their mom will always be safe and trustworthy, and not seeing her doesn’t mean she’s disappeared.
