Author Biography

Alison Todes is a professor of urban and regional planning at the University of the Witwatersrand. Pearl Sithole is a research specialist in the democracy and governance research program at the Human Sciences Research Council. Amanda Williamson is a senior lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand's school of architecture and planning.
