"This report highlights the vessel forms and styles, and tile designs, made at each pothouse, outlining the products recovered during excavation. Features and material associated with pottery production at each pothouse (eg kilns, and kiln furniture, wasters and unfinished wares) are described, with fully illustrated catalogues of the vessels and tile. Scientific analysis of the tin-glazed wares from these pothouses has demonstrated that each produced goods with a unique chemical fingerprint, making it possible to attribute vessels and tiles to individual pothouses."--BOOK JACKET.
