Each CD in this 2CD set contains three 10-minute guided relaxation programs led by Dr. Eva Selhub. Dr. Selhub is an author, lecturer, clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, and the medical director of the Henry Benson Institute for Mind/Body Medicine, where she works in concert with best-selling author and researcher Dr. Herbert Benson.

 

In each of these six guided program Dr. Selhub combines vivid imagery, breathing techniques, and her own proven processes to masterfully bring listeners to a place where they can let go of tensions and apprehensions and embrace love, balance, and joy. This shift is actually correlated with a change in physiology called “The Love Response,” where blood pressure drops, pulse slows, muscles relax, and levels of stress hormones normalize. These programs utilize the same techniques that Dr. Selhub uses with patients every day in her Integrative Medicine Clinic and at the Henry Benson Institute for Mind/Body Medicine.
