I have found this manual helpful. It provides clear information for the reader who has at least some knowledge of medical and veterinary vocabulary, it contains a wealth of information which, although I am simply a dog owner, I have used in caring for my pets, It contains a wealth of information which, although I am simply a dog owner, I have used in caring for my pets.

This new edition of the veterinary classic has been completely revised and redesigned. A two-column format and use of color throughout make the text and tables easy to read, and for the very first time, color images have been included to enhance and illustrate the text.
