Author Biography

Huub Dijstelbloem is Lecturer in Philosophy of Science at the University of Amsterdam and Senior Researcher at the Scientific Council for Government Policy in The Hague (WRR), both of the Netherlands. His research focuses on questions concerning democracy in technological societies and on the political aspects of surveillance and biomedical issues. Albert Meijer is Associate Professor at the Utrecht School of Governance, Utrecht University, The Netherlands. His research focuses on technology, governance and public accountability.
