Vampires have long been read as bodies through which our sense of ourselves has been reflected back to us. Author Biography

DEBORAH MUTCH is senior lecturer in the Department of English and Creative Writing at DeMontfort University, UK. She is author of English Socialist Periodicals, 1880-1900: A Reference Source (Ashgate, 2005) and has published articles in a range of journals including Literature and History, Victorian Literature and Culture, and Nineteenth Century Studies.
