Mia is a talented high school music teacher and an adept equestrian who lives on a ranch in the small town of Ojai, California. Owen is an internationally famous composer and conductor with a questionable reputation.
After an unpleasant confrontation that produces hostility, they often find themselves at the same events, and despite many conflicts and clashes between them, they are drawn to each other.
