Author Biography

Rowan Moore studied architecture at St John's College, Cambridge and now practises in London as a partner in the firm of ZMMN Architects. He has written on architecture and design for many magazines and journals, including the Independent, The Times, Blueprint and Architectural Review After studying theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art, Sampson Lloyd taught art for six years before becoming a commercial photographer in 1978
