Author Biography


The late Peter Hare was Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Buffalo, SUNY.

Joseph Palencik is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Indian River State College.

Douglas R. Anderson teaches philosophy at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He is author and editor of several books dealing with American philosophy.

Steven A. Miller is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has published in The Transactions of the Charles S. Peirce Society, The Pluralist, and New Political Science. His research focuses include American pragmatism, participatory democracy, and the social-political thought of Richard Rorty.
