Author Biography

Willi-Hans Steeb is the Director of the International School for Scientific Computing, the aim of which is to fulfill the need in the information-technology and high-technology industries for professional training in software engineering and scientific computing including quantum computing and nanotechnology. He is also a professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Johannesburg. His research focuses on nonlinear dynamical systems, chaos, neural networks, genetic algorithms, scientific computing, Lie groups, quantum chaos, quantum computing and string theory. He also has interest in object-oriented programming, C++, Java, LISP, gene expression programming, and Assembly languages. He is also one of the developers of the computer algebra package SymbolicC++. He is the author of 46 scientific books and more than 230 scientific publications.
