Ashton, PhD, ME, is Associate Professor of Silviculture, and Director of the Tropical Resources Institute at Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in New Haven, Connecticut. Jennifer L. O'Hara, MFS, BA, is a doctoral candidate at Yale University in the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, New Haven, Connecticut. Robert D. Hauff, MF, BA, is a research ecologist in Micronesia for the USDA Forest Service Institute of Pacific Islands Forestry.
