Author Biography

Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, accomplished in scholarship and meditation, is one of the great living masters of the Karma Kagyu tradition. Born in 1922 in East Tibet, Rinpoche is the abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock, New York and retreat master of Karme Ling Three-Year Retreat Center in upstate New York.
