Summary

Used in schools throughout the world, this three-volume grammar series is appropriate for beginning, intermediate, and advanced-level ESL students. Lessons can be assigned in sequence as a formal introduction or review of all major language points, or can be assigned on a personal basis as individualized remedial instruction. Each page consists of a one page lesson on a particular grammar point. Each lesson presents: -a brief, clear explanation of the grammar point. -10 to 50 exercises of various types. Answers appear in a perforated answer key at the end of each book. Appendices summarize all major verb conjugations. The workbooks can be used on their own for remedial practice, as a complement to any basic textbook series, or in conjunction with Dixson's grammar texts: -Workbook #1: Beginning is coordinated with Dixson's Beginning Lessons in English, A and B. -Workbook #2: Intermediate is coordinated with Dixson's Second Book in English. -Workbook #3: Advanced reviews material from Books 1 and 2 and introduces new advanced material.
