Author Biography

Daryl Erdman is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with more than 40 years of experience. He has founded seven businesses, including Rotab Corp., a restaurant chain at which he also served as president, and Mems Technology, a medical device company. Most notably, Daryl was a lead developer in the entrepreneurial programs at both the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minnesota) and the University of Iowa. Both schools' entrepreneurial programs have been nationally ranked in the Top 35. Daryl has received awards for his leadership excellence, including honors from the National Federation of Independent Business Foundation, the Kauffman Foundation's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and the U.S. Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He currently resides in northern Minnesota with his wife, Audrey, and writes a business column for Business North.
