Jon Kirkwood: An experienced writer and editor with over 30 years publishing experience, Jon has been immersed in step-by-step factual publications, having worked for various UK partwork/series publication companies including Marshall Cavendish, Eaglemoss, and IMP. Jon has also written 20 books for children of different age groups on subjects as varied as space, machines, and animals. Jon holds a BSc Special Hons in Psychology with Physiology (Sheffield University, UK).

Shaw Nielsen: Shaw Nielsen is a pretty snazzy illustrator with a knack for coming up with quirky solutions. He started off studying in San Francisco at the Academy of Art but eventually made his way back home to Denver, Colorado. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, 3x3 magazine, been on the cover of HOW Magazine, honored by the Alliance of Illustrators, and the Art Directors Club.
