Lil' Bird Keeps His Word tells the story of a little bird's journey#xD;and his determination.#xD;The adventurous trip was first created as an illustration of a true#xD;story. The illustrator of the story was once swapping stories with his#xD;neighbor. The neighbor told of how his grandmother had once witnessed#xD;two clever mice carrying egg; one mouse holding the egg while the#xD;other pulling his partner by the tail. After illustrating this#xD;peculiar scene, a string of events naturally followed to create Lil'#xD;Bird Keeps His Word.#xD;#xD;The text was chosen through a world wide open call for story#xD;submissions. One talented author was chosen for her clever story that#xD;paired with the illustrations.

Born and raised in Umbria, Italy, Daniel Rossi currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from the International School of Comics in Rome, Italy, with a degree in Comic Book Illustration. With over 10 years of experience in painting, graphic design and illustration, Daniel channels his characteristic visual language and kindhearted style into a new series of children`s books.
