Summary

Sex, Lies, and the Bible looks at six specific areas of human sexuality, namely, masturbation, incest, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, and bestiality, and how they are actually treated in the Bible. This work examines not only the sexual prohibitions laid down by Moses, but more importantly, why he created these laws. It also examines why Christ did not retain these laws when he reiterated those Old Testament laws that Christians should adhere to. The book next looks at St. Paul, bringing home the fact that he never heard a single word that Christ preached, and the fact that for seventeen years the apostles would not talk to him, finally letting the reader know that Paul claimed that St. Peter was not teaching what Christ had taught, that St. Peter had fallen away from Christ's teachings. The book scrutinizes the alterations to the Bible made by St. Jerome, and by John Reynolds, the Puritan who created the King James Bible, and the serious impact these alterations have had on human sexual activity, right up to today. The sexual-subject changes between the major versions of the Bible are cross-examined, given the fact that each New Testament is copyrighted, which creates a minimum of a twenty percent difference between each of these versions. Each of the six sexual subjects is looked at in the light of today's anti-sexual mood created by those who would control our sexuality. The author created, and copyrighted, a sexuality scale that expands that created by Alfred Kinsey. The Ritter Sexuality Scalec allows one to understand the sexual feelings and urges that are inherent within each of us. Given the rate of teenage suicide owing the their confusion over their sexual feelings and drives, versus the harangues by the religious extremists, this book is arguably one of the most important books written within the last fifty years.

Author Biography

Frank Ritter has owned the investigation firm of Backtrack Unlimited Co., in Southern California, since 1973, and has specialized in catastrophic plaintiff personal injury and major criminal defense since early 1975. During his over thirty years of investigative experience he has investigated injury cases that have obtained plaintiff results in excess of a half-billion dollars. In addition, he has solved ten homicides, providing enough evidence for convictions. The police investigated two of these cases as homicides (having arrested two innocent people), seven of them as accidents, and one of them as a suicide. He is a member of Mensa, is listed in both the 1985/1986 and 1988 editions of Who's Who in California, and is a Certified Legal Investigator (one of just over a hundred in the entire United States). He is also a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators, in which he chaired the Continuing Education Committee for three years, and was on the Certified Legal Investigator committee from 1994 to 2006. In addition, he is a member of numerous investigative associations around the country. Mr. Ritter is a frequent investigative conference speaker, and has authored numerous articles for two national investigative magazines: The Legal Investigator and PI Magazine. He also authored the ôConstruction Site Accidentsö chapter in the book, Advanced Forensic Civil Investigations. In 2001, Mr. Ritter released his own book, Successful Personal Injury Investigation, which has been variously described as ôthe most comprehensive manual of its kind . . . the premier personal injury guide ever,ö and ôThe investigator's bible.ö Decades ago Mr. Ritter turned his investigative talents to the subject of those who would control our sexuality and sexual activity by misquoting, misrepresenting, and outright lying about what the Bible has to say about human sexual activity.
