Author Biography

Silvia Grohs-Martin is a former actress, dancer and singer who worked at a Jewish theater and cultural center in Amsterdam, worked with the Dutch Resistance, then later survived the horrors of Auschwitz and two other concentration camps. Now 82, she lives in Los Angeles and volunteers with Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation
