Author Biography

Lorne Tepperman is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. His current area of research in includes family, and more specifically how problem gambling affects family relations.
The late James Curtis was a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Waterloo. His primary scholarly interests included social inequality, associational and political behaviour, the sociology of knowledge, and the sociology of physical activity and sport.
Patrizia Albanese is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Ryerson University. Her current area of research includes Canadian families, family policies, and children and childcare.
