At inns, or restaurants with rooms, food takes priority and 'le terroir' seasonal, fresh and local food is de rigueur. In the chbteaux, intimate dinners are hosted around a communal table. Author Biography

Susan Herrick Luraschi also edits our Paris Hotels guide. She has lived in the centre of Paris for 10 years (and in France for about 30) and is passionate about her adoptive country, its buildings, people, food and wine.
