The Straight Road Has Bends will keep all that have anything to do with adoption moving forward when the unexpected arrives or if life tends to grind. You will see anew that God often works moving us along unexpected routes. You can read more of her experiences in her book In a Far Country. This is Barbara's ninth book since retirement after 37 years of helping with church mission work in Argentina. She and her husband have three children and four grandchildren. They now reside in Florida. She says she procrastinated and couldn't decide whether to write a book on the subject of adoption. This book is the answer to her dilemma. The subject of adoption and attitudes toward adoption is very dear to her heart. I think the reader will be glad she wrote this book.
