Author Biography

Margaret Barrow is Subject Specialist and User Education Librarian at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. Krista Cowman teaches in the School of Cultural Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University Claire Eustance was an organizer of the Seeing Through Suffrage Conference. She is a British co-editor of the journal Gender and History Julie Gottlieb was awarded a PhD by the University of Cambridge in 1998. She has published reviews in the Times Literary Supplement Lesley A. Hall is Senior Assistant Archivist in the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine, London. June Hannam is Principal Lecturer in History at the University of the West of England Sandra Stanley Holton is a Senior Australian Research Council Fellow in the History Department at the University of Adelaide Karen Hunt is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Angela V. John is Professor of History at the University of Greenwich Hilda Kean is a tutor in History and course director of the MA in Popular Memory and Public History at Ruskin College, Oxford Sowon S. Park is a research fellow at Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford Joan Ryan is a Principal Lecturer in History at the University of Greenwich. Laura Ugolini completed her PhD in 1997. She is currently a Research Fellow in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Wolverhampton
