Survey of Historic Costume   September 24, 2010
by

This was a great addition to a costume history course. I used it for my MAT 559 course at UK. It seems a little expensive because it is a new text from 2010 however the book is extremely up to date regarding fashion and trends. The book features a huge amount of pictures and covers terms from the ancient Egyptians to the 1970s in America. The book also features historic information on the social and economic times and how these affect the perception of dress and art. It was by far the most interesting course and text that I used in college.
