Author Biography

A member of Metropolitan Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., Lora-Ellen McKinney is the offspring of three generations of Baptist ministers. An expert in community health, social services, social justice, and education, she heads her own consulting firm and holds numerous degrees, including a Ph.D. from the University of Washington and a master's in public administration from Harvard University
