Author Biography

Klara Hawkins was born in northwestern England in a very pretty, hilly, and wet rural area. A childhood full of rainy days allowed for lots of time spent indoors drawing and painting. She went on to study illustration at Kingston University. Upon graduating, she fell into her dream job designing and illustrating greetings cards, wrapping paper, toys, and stationery. Now she is a freelance illustrator and loving every minute of it.

Andi Landes was born and raised in Southern California and graduated with a B.A. degree in speech pathology and audiology from San Diego State University. She has been in publishing for more than 15 years, working in various capacities including sales, buying, inventory management, and operations—she is excited to add author to the list! Andi has a love for travel, cooking, and watching bad TV. She lives in San Diego with her husband and daughter, Kensley.
