Summary

Author Biography

Björn Beckman is a professor of political science at Stockholm University. He is the coeditor of Labour Regimes and Liberalization and Union Power in the Nigerian Textile Industry. Sakhela Buhlungu is a professor of sociology at the University of Johannesburg and the editor of Trade Unions and Democracy. Lloyd Sachikonye is a professor in the department of agrarian and labor studies at the University of Zimbabwe. He is the author of Democracy, Civil Society and The State and Restructuring or De-Industrialising?
