This is a must-have resource for sewers of all abilities who are searching for inspiring romantic motifs to embroider. The book contains 64 romantic, whimsical designs including hearts, flowers, wedding rings and butterflies. The book contains four main sections: the stitches and techniques, the samplers, the projects and the transfers. Each design is shown as a colorful stitched sampler, with information on the DMC thread colors and the embroidery stitches used. The twelve beautiful embroidered projects will inspire the reader, showing how transformative a homemade touch can be. Finally, the transfers at the back can be cut out and ironed up to ten times each; the book contains a pocket at the back for storing cut-out designs. There are notes on the techniques used, and with just eleven simple stitches to choose from, all with step-by-step diagrams, even beginner sewers will be able to tackle the designs provided.
