Author Biography

Rui Umezawa won a scholarship to study in Beijing at a time when he had no idea what he wanted to do in life. “It was the best thing to ever happen to me, because seeing things like the Great Wall and the Potala Palace in Tibet made me realize how wondrous life can be. I wasn’t as aimless when I got back to Canada. I wanted to do and accomplish things.
