Erick Gonzalez is a new writer in the published sense, but he is far from new at expressing his thoughts and ideas through the written word. For decades, his only audience was himself. For decades, he chose to keep his creations private, never believing that anyone would care to listen. For decades, he doubted the value of his work. At the age of 38, he finally decided to break free from those limitations he had long placed on himself. He realized he has but one life to live and one chance to make his dream a reality. He chose to believe in his voice and his message.

He serves as an active-duty law enforcement officer on the streets in one of the largest and busiest agencies just outside the Washington, D.C. area. He found his calling, standing in front of the innocent to protect them from the villainy of the world.
