DANA G. GOSKI, PhD, is the Director of Research at Allied Mineral Products in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Goski earned her PhD in Engineering from Dalhousie University, Canada. She is a member of The American Ceramic Society’s (ACerS) Refractories Division, a co-inventor on a number of international patents, and an ardent supporter of science and engineering educational outreach activities.
JEFFREY D. SMITH, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Ceramic Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of The American Ceramic Society and his current research interests include high temperature materials, condensed and non-condensed phase equilibria, high temperature corrosion processes, and characterization of ceramics.
