Having been a Vice President for a heavy construction company looking to improve their technology, Kanoe developed a strong desire to go into the tech world. Kanoe later went on to study tech certificate programs for executive education in AI in fintech and open banking, green and sustainable finance, cybersecurity, blockchain strategy and blockchain development. She is very active in the scene where she is in the know of what is trending along with emerging technologies. Kanoe has traveled to over 20 countries during her career in marketing, advertising, partnerships, consulting, construction and tech. Aside from being an author, Kanoe is a competitive snowboarder and surfer who likes to teach yoga.
