Author Biography

Jack Brainard has been breeding, raising, and training horses for a living since 1947. He and his wife, Susan, live on their Diamond B Ranch at Aubrey, Texas. Over the years, Jack has developed, trained, and shown many AQHA Champions. Jack has also been judging halter and performance events since 1948, and has judged every major Quarter Horse show in the country at least once. He also has judged Paints, POAs, Appaloosas, Palominos, mules, and draft horses, and holds a judge's card in both the NCHA and NRHA
