In 2004, Arun Kapil launched the eco-friendly spice company Green Saffron from his home in Cork, Ireland. Green Saffron imports whole spices grown on small farms throughout India and supplies them to top restaurants such as The Ritz and Claridges, as well as to shops such as Selfridges and Tesco. Kapil graduated from Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland and regularly appears on TV there.
