Author Biography

Aelred Rosser was born and reared in an evangelical tradition of Christianity that has always centered its religious experience on the word of God, the Bible. Since becoming a Catholic at the age of twenty, he has spent forty years promoting the best of those two religious traditions -- a profound love for scripture expressed in a nourishing liturgical celebration of the sacraments. He holds degrees in philosophy, religion, and theology, and a PhD in rhetoric, linguistics, and literature from the University of Southern California. He is also certified as a teacher of English as a foreign language (TEFL). He has conducted lector workshops and preaching seminars nationwide. His other writings on the ministry of proclamation are among the resource works listed at the back of this volume.
