Summary

Rather than looking at the issue systemically as some of our other books have done, Kent Crookston provides a practical, focused, on-the-ground approach to help chairs learn to deal with challenging colleagues. Based both on the literature and on his own research and experience, Crookston provides seven steps for successfully dealing with any kind of a challenging colleague. This topic could be a strong candidate for the "Best Practices" online seminar series when the book comes out.
