Author Biography

Jane Rogers is among our most gifted novelists, short story writers and dramatists. She has written six novels and one book of short stories and was recently shortlisted for the National Short Story Award. She is Professor of Writing at Sheffield Hallam University and a Mentor for the Gold Dust Mentoring Scheme for new writers. She has tutored at Arvon, and has taught creative writing for many years. She has also edited an anthology of new writing and written a reference guide to fiction. She is a former Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
