Clinical MRI of the Abdomen

The volume is focused on the most recent, clinically relevant abdominal applications of MR Imaging. It is aiming to be of value/assistance to all those involved in learning, performing, interpreting, and reporting Abdominal MRI examinations. It contains the most appropriate and up-dated information on the how, why and when Abdominal MR Imaging examinations should be performed. Each chapter is organized to include abstracted relevant clinical information, state- of- the art protocols of MR examinations of abdominal solid and hollow viscera, their anatomy, variants and normal MRI appearances including artefacts, interpretation of abnormal features and a work up for diagnosis, including a differential and comparison with competing methodologies. Each chapter is roundeda "off by a "Pearls and Pitfalls" sub-section, which is enhancing the clinical relevance of the specific application.
