Author Biography

Buck Tilton, M.S., has worked in outdoor education for more than twenty-five years. He is an EMT instructor/coordinator and the executive director of the Wilderness Medicine Institute, Inc., based in Pitkin, Colorado. Frank Hubbell, D.O., has worked in medical education for more than twenty years. He is an EMT instructor/coordinator, has a private practice in family medicine, and is active in mountain search and rescue.
