Shine Your Light was founded by Kinsey Burchett who faced many obstacles in her life. Her father had a severe addiction and because of that Kinsey did not understand how to cope. So, she turned to dancing and acting for her way to find her emotions. Shine Your Light helps children learn healthy coping mechanisms through activities to learn about their emotions and how to talk about them. Kinsey has taken Shine Your Light: Follow Your Path to schools to speak about how to find your coping mechanism and how to talk about how you are feeling.
