Reunion With A Killer

Lee Bishop, a business man, is traveling cross country by car instead of flying as usual. One of the reasons he chose to do this was to stop in the small Iowa town where he attended college almost forty years ago and to which he had not been back. In the course of his visit, he plans to look up his college roommate, Carl, the president of the local bank with whom he has been exchanging yearly Christmas card greetings.Lee arrives at the bank and the receptionist directs him to an office in the rear of the bank. Something is wrong here?This man is not Carl Kyle!Lee after finding an ally in Pete Riley, the local newspaper publisher, decides to investigate this Karl Kyle who is not Karl Kyle. Their investigations uncover a number of ?accidental deaths? of people who knew the real Karl Kyle thirty years in the past. Lee and Pete decide to try to expose the phony ?Karl? resulting a suspenseful confrontation.
