"A wide-ranging and literally breathtaking collection of forty-six living gay and lesbian poets' work [which] proves that while sexual orientation may not determine a uniform identity, it does encompass a wealth of shared experience. [This book] contains more than enough budding and seasoned poets to be discovered, savored, and prized for generations to come."The Advocate "Almost dizzyingly diverse in generation, geography, and style."Publishers Weekly "A big . . . sampling of American poetry at the twenty-first century's dawning."Booklist
