Furious Love

In the tradition of C. S. Lewis¿ classic, A Grief Observed, Johnny and Carla Morton have allowed us to join them on their journey through grief following the death of their teenage son, Zach. Carla and Johnny Morton have been married for over 25 years. Johnny is chairman of the Bible department at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Georgia where he has taught high school students for the past eight years. He has spoken at numerous retreats, seminars and conferences across the country. Carla has been a Registered Nurse for the past 25 years. She says that much of what she learned about compassion and caring in her profession came from being on the other side of the bed as a parent with Zach. She is currently completing her masters as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in adult health with a post-masters certificate in Nursing Education. Carla and Johnny have two other children, Kemper, age 18, and Cole, age 12.
