Author Biography

Kristine Mason O'Connor trained as a sociologist of education and undertook an ethnographic study of young rural women and education for her doctoral thesis. She has taught in further and higher education in Cameroon, London, Brighton and Cheltenham. Currently she is Head of the Centre for Learning and Teaching at the University of Gloucestershire
