Intending to introduce an acclaimed Argentinean painter to an international audience, this work presents a selection of Marcela Böhm’s early and modern work. Böhm displays an enormous painterly variety: her paintings, where she gets close to those she portrays, allows for intimate glances into the subject’s life and her oils and watercolors, in large or small formats, her handwriting is very distinct, where ornament pervades the foreground.
